This is a documentation of the Art Bitch comedy show at the 2025 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. It took place at Sawubona Creativity Project on Sept. 20, 2025 and featured Christine Stoddard, Aaron Gold, Barrett Tribe, Becky Z, and 6 Different People. Witness the misadventures of a Bushwick art star! Art Bitch is an entitled nepo baby who’s slutty for contemporary art…and kinda slutty in general. But in a “sex-positive” way. And a “spent 7 years in her Columbia MFA” kinda way. Welcome to her new conceptual art project: Summer Vacation. Art Bitch is a character act of comedian, performer, and “real” artist Christine Stoddard. Art Bitch has terrorized screens and stages at Manhattan Neighborhood Network, The Players Theatre, Parkside Lounge, The People’s Improv Theater, the Kraine Theater, Theater for the New City, and beyond. Christine Stoddard aka Art Bitch makes playful, socially conscious videos and performances through an observational, comedic, and autobiographical lens. She is the founder of Quail Bell Press & Productions, which has snagged awards from the Brooklyn Arts Council, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, IndieSpace, etc. A former boss once called Christine “intimidatingly creative, ” so it makes sense that Brooklyn Magazine named her one of its 50 Most Fascinating People. For some fancy words, the Rowan University journal Glassworks said she “tells stories in magical and hauntingly beautiful ways.” She studied painting and journalism at Columbia University. Naturally, she lives in Brooklyn, NY and is chronically online.
Aaron Gold is a comedian, actor, writer, and host. He has appeared on Disney+, Netflix, Mtv, Nickelodeon, TNT, and NBC, as well as lent his voice to several Disney cartoons. Aaron is the host of “Don’t Mind If I Don’t, ” a podcast-turned-TV show where fans and experts of things he doesn’t like convince him why he is wrong. His mental health comedy show, “You Are Not Alone: An Uplifting Show About Depression” has been enjoying monthly performances at the Magnet Theater for over 10 years now, and has partnered with NAMI NYC to combat the stigma associated with mental health. He is a two-time Silver Telly award winner, recently made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Daredevil: Born Again, appears in the sequel comedy fan film, “The Mask: Gone Viral, ” and recently played several dark and disturbing roles in “Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares” at The Tank. He co-starred in the limited podcast, “Bad Guys & B-Sides, ” playing an angsty teenage guitarist turned magical sorcerer.
